I finally finished this one. It's probably the hardest one I've worked on considering all the light sources but finally I've done it. Between my work days and chillage days with friends I guess I managed to put a little bit of time in it every so often. Now I gotta focus on 3D animation but I'll still be drawing. Also inspired a bit from Artgerm my idol
If you haven't guessed yet, this is another Yakuza art hence the whole shirt-like tattoo that took me some time to design. The lantern character means: Respect in chinese. I wanted to find something more suitable but that will do for now. Constructive criticism is appreciated as always. Credits to brushes: Chinese characters:  [Edit]: Edited with a better quality image as well as a modified lantern. It no longer says Respect but rather Money since it's a one letter word which looks better and displays the dark side of the Yakuza. Comments
 Awesome as always. I really like the tattoos on her back as well as the fan. The top of the chinese lantern look a little odd, unless it's a cap. I also like how the the background and the fan's colors kinda merge together. Finally for some strange reason my favorite thing about this piece is the red string.

This is seriously your best deviation to this day, I'm positively FLOORED by the amount of detail you put into this. It's fantastic, I'm at a lose of words. You pulled off such a difficult pose! The light sources here just blew my face off o_o -EVERYTHING in this blew my face off! I've got only one tinnnnny bit of a critique -it's very minor. You should maybe define the knuckles on her hand thats holding the lantern. Great work. Once again -I seriously do not know how to tell ya how awesome this is. :/ If you don't get a daily deviation for this, I will have lost all faith in them. e_e  <---Joker applauds u :0-- ಠ_ಠ  This is gorgeous~ I love the colours and the lighting a lot! The tatoos are amazing

Ah yes, the lantern gave me troubles and yeah the top's a cap. Red piece of string is supposed to stand out  I'm glad it did. Thanks

No problem, I thought I'd something more useful than awesome job for once. The rest of the lantern is awesome it's just something about that cap, I don't really know what it is, maybe the color or the texture.

Yeah the details killed me and the tattoo was what took most time. I had to design it in a way that tells a story-ish and make the surroundings look like it was a part of the middle piece.
